We’re looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. Working with a portfolio of clients the role is outlined below:
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable for a portfolio of clients
- Complete bank reconciliations with accuracy and efficiency
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Payroll, creditors & debtors reconciliations
- Registering/Deregistering clients for VAT
- Managing client queries relating to software/general bookkeeping
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Proficiency in bookkeeping and managing journal entries
- Experience in preparing financial statements and general finance-related tasks
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and tools- Xero, Sage 50, Sage One, Quickbooks
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles
- Formal qualifications in accounting or a related field are advantageous
Job Benefits
- Competitive salary- £25-30k DOE.
- 6 weeks annual leave (plus extra after 5 years’ service)
