Qualified Accountant / Auditor

If you are a part or newly qualified CA/ACCA with an appropriate level of practice experience , can demonstrate a strong track record of leading onsite audits, have excellent technical knowledge and a good attention to detail, then you could be the kind of person we are looking for.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing management and statutory accounts for a range of owner managed businesses
  • Maintaining client contact to deliver a proactive service
  • Supporting the Partners in planning, performing and completing audit assignments
  • Taking responsibility for all aspect of audit fieldwork
  • Ensuring audit fieldwork is completed to a high quality, on time and within budget
  • Preparing high quality audit documentation and financial statements
  • Supervising and coaching junior team members
  • Developing strong client relationships

The ideal candidate:

Part Qualified / Experienced Accountant

If you have at least two years experience working in practice, excellent organisational skills and a good attention to detail, then you could be the kind of person we are looking for.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing management and statutory accounts for a range of owner managed businesses (sole traders, partnerships and limited companies)
  • Drafting of Personal and Corporation Tax computations
  • Liaising with clients by email, phone and face to face to build effective working relationships
  • Coaching/assisting junior staff members
  • Maintaining up to date technical knowledge of accounting standards, corporation and personal tax
  • Maintaining client contact to deliver a proactive service
  • Liaising with colleagues to provide a co-ordinated service to the client
  • Managing your workload effectively to meet deadlines

The ideal candidate:

  • Part qualified/qualified by experience with a minimum of 2 years experience working in an Accountancy Firm
  • Experience of CCH, Xero, Sage and other cloud systems would be an advantage.
  • Competent in the preparation of sole trader and FRS102 Limited Company accounts
  • Able to demonstrate and clear commitment to delivering first class service to clients and colleagues alike
  • Good attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to manage your own workload and work on own initiative to meet tight deadlines

Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper

Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting an accounts assistant to join our team. The role could be based in either office, and salary will be competitive and dependant on experience. As part of the bookkeeping / accounts support team the successful candidate will undertake a range of duties on behalf of our clients.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of using various bookkeeping software including, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks.
  • Significant experience in day-to-day bookkeeping, preferably to trial balance level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work quickly, accurately and to deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
  • The desire to work within a team and get involved with the wider work of the team when required.
